The Job Specification 

Senior UX/Digital Designer.

The Senior UX/Digital Designers role would be to develop, design and support the implementation of changes to the Beagle Street website and Interface with the Development Team to design and brief in the build of ‘optimised commercial outcome customer journeys’ across the digital platforms.  You will create sketches, flows and/or storyboards to visualise UX solutions, execute detailed wireframes and prototypes, and validate ideas and designs through user testing. The role would also cover the design of digital assets for marketing comms and collateral.

Career progression and responsibility/team growth is also very realistic as the Group is midway through and embarking upon a new digital UX strategy which will expand in time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the marketing, product and tech teams to develop new customer journeys and comms as they expand their offering to provide new products and services
  • Work with the onsite analyst to identify pain points in the existing customer journey then develop, prototype and create design solutions that will improve conversion and user experience 
  • Lead user research and/or business stakeholder workshops to support requirements gathering
  • Develop reusable design patterns and components to allow for the quick creation of new content and landing pages whilst reducing developer reliance.
  • Be a brand champion, ensuring the quality of all customer touch points from a design and usability perspective
  • Work with the brand and comms manager to develop and design acquisition marketing collateral including emails, direct mail and social. 
  • Support the distribution team with ad hoc design requests such as pitching docs, event collateral and intermediary comms
  • A new digital strategy project will commence in 2023 that will require this person to lead the building of new UX journeys across new platforms and an expanded product range

    Skills and Experience

    • A customer centric who is passionate about designing engaging and functional digital customer experiences
    • Demonstrate curiosity – about the customers, their evolving business, and key design and technology trends
    • Experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, User Testing, Session Cam and email design platforms
    • A true mobile first designer who is passionate about delivering a great user experience
    • Able to work across multiple projects, provide accurate delivery timings and prioritise based on business requirements where necessary
    • Experience of working with developers and ensuring the finished product matches the designs, both visually and functionally
    • Experience of designing marketing comms such as email, mail and other marketing collateral
